The Health and Human Performance (HHP) degree with a Public Health concentration will be available at all 6 Regional Centers beginning Fall 2026!

Our UTM Jackson Center students are doing great things!

We’re proud to celebrate another outstanding student achievement from the UT Martin Jackson Center! 🎓✨

Congratulations to Elizabeth Mann on being awarded the Jackson Area Business and Professional Women Scholarship! Elizabeth is currently pursuing a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Law Policy and is on track to graduate in August 2026. She joined us as a transfer student through our partnership with Jackson State Community College, where she earned her associate degree in Political Science in August 2025.

This marks the second consecutive year a Jackson Center student has received this prestigious scholarship—following last year’s recipient, Krystal Taylor, who now serves on the UTM Jackson Board.

The Jackson Center continues to thrive, shaping the next generation of skilled, driven professionals. We’re excited to see all that Elizabeth will accomplish!

So proud of Tia!

🌟 Student Spotlight: Tia Hymon 🌟

Tia Hymon is a Criminal Justice major at the UTM Jackson Center. She chose the Jackson Center to stay close to family after basketball season. 🏡

Tia has completed a 140-hour internship with the Jackson Police Department and plans to begin a career in investigative journalism. 📰

It was happy chaos this afternoon with a full Student Center! Thank you to Nathan Morgan and Dillon Ingram from UTM Marketing for our photo shoot, and to Luke Love from UTM CPAD for meeting with students and answering questions about resumes, job searches, etc. At the end, a few of us took a few quiet moments to enjoy the end-of-event downtime.

It's a great day at New Greater Bethel AME Church's College and Career Fair. Honored to participate in what Minister Christopher Greer said is the "first college and career fair held at a black church in Jackson". UTM Jackson is blessed to make new connections to support our Jackson-Madison County community.

Free to the Public! A severe weather awareness event sponsored by the University of Tennessee at Martin-Jackson Center. This Saturday, April 18, 5-7 pm, UTM Jackson on the Jackson State Community College campus, McWherter Building (corner of FE Wright and North Parkway - you will notice our building by all of the construction). Learn important safety tips, and speak with our meteorology professor, Shaley Snider, a former weather forecaster with WBBJ.
