in the state of Mississippi. The Rho Epsilon Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity has been a stalwart supporter of the ambition of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift, that was eloquently comprised by the Fraternity's four Honorable Founders on November 17, 1911 on the campus of Howard University. For more than six decades the men of the Rho Epsilon chapter have embodied the Fraternity's
motto that "Friendship is Essential to The Soul." The men of the Rho Epsilon chapter understand that the notion of friendship is not limited to the brothers of Omega. Instead true Friendship is a vast notion that is applied to the entire community. Since 1948, The Rho Epsilon Chapter has intrigued a myriad of young men from different walks of life, and diverging perspectives to come malleable and be molded by a collection of brothers, both young and old. These men, this variety of brothers has become an intricate part of its campus community at Tougaloo College, and after these brothers depart the haven of Tougaloo, they become valiant contributors to the inextricable network of humanity. The brothers of Rho Epsilon become exemplars of the implicit concept to "Lift as we Climb." "To thine own self be true" "There is nothing like a Tougaloo Que!!!!"
