It is with heavy hearts that we grieve the loss of Brother Jerry Thompson, who passed away a couple days ago.
Brother Jerry Thompson was one of the founding members of our chapter and was the first initiated member of the Lambda Zeta chapter at Union University. His service to our fraternity extended far beyond founding it, and he exemplified our creed and motto well.
We had the incredible opportunity to meet Brother Jerry this past semester when he came and spoke at one of our meetings. He was a joy to be around, always laughing and joking with anyone around him. We are beyond thankful for that time with our Brother and are incredibly grateful for how much he has poured into our fraternity and its members both past and present. Brother Thompson’s legacy will live on through our brotherhood, and we are indebted to what he has given to Lambda Chi Alpha. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Congratulations to our very own President of Union University, Dr. Dub Oliver for receiving Lambda Chi Alpha National's Order of Achievement as well as being appointed Grand High Epsilon of the Lambda Chi Alpha Board of Directors. Dr. Dub, we are so thankful for all you've done for our chapter, fraternity, and campus as a whole.
