This week CUFI-UU will be raising money for Save A Child's Heart! A non-profit Israeli organization that provides life saving surgeries to children all across the developing world.

Aside from more barrages of rockets coming from the Gaza Strip, there has been a wave of terror attacks from the West Bank. Just as predicted a few days ago The Palestinian Authority has once again responded to peace with violence, murder and terrorism.

According to a March 14th, 2018 Washington Post article the Palestinian Authority designates $350 million dollars to the families of Palestinian prisoners, martyrs and injured. If not directly told by the PA (which there is much evidence for) Palestinians are incentivesed to commit acts of terror against Israelis. Below are just the two or attacks recorded in the past 24 hours.

Please join with CUFI-UU as we continue to pray for peace in Jerusalem and that one day Palestinians will awaken and pursue peace as readily as Israel.

A statement from CUFI-UU President Grant Gammon:

Another great step towards peace will likely be rejected by the Palestinian Authority.

Israel has a right to exist in the land as established though the 1947 UN partition and their ancestral roots. There has always been a Jewish presence in Israel and in fact many of the “settlements” are Jewish communities dating back centuries.

There have been 5 historical “no’s” where Israel has accepted and been willing to negotiate for peace. The two highlighted are the 2000 Olso attempt and the 2008 land swap negotiation. On all 5 attempts the propositions have been rejected and the Palestinians have refused to even negotiate.

They refuse because they want 100% of the land owed to them. What is this 100%? You might have heard “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.” The PA and those who support them from the Arab League to BDS across the world (whether intentionally or otherwise) will not have peace until Israel is wiped off the face of the map.

It is time to stop enabling the PA to use the suffering of its people for political motivation. It is time to pressure the international community to stop taking sides in this conflict.

Israel time and time again has been willing to negotiate. Unless the PA is cut off from international welfare it will never feel the need to negotiate. Is it time for peace to come to Jerusalem or will this be the 6th “no.” Only time will tell.

This summer many CUFI-UU members went to Israel. Visiting Biblical sites such as the nativity as seen above!

Israel boast over 100 Biblical sites for Christianity! Yet there are hundreds of holy sites for both Judaism and Islam as well, freely open for all religions and peoples to visit!

Over the past 12 hours Israel has been hit with over 200 rockets from the Gaza Strip. This remains a testament that Israel is the only nation in the world expected to take such attacks and not retaliate. Hamas has made it clear that they do not wish to have peace with Israel.

Please join us in praying for all those in the land of Israel who are affected by these attacks.
