CCE offers a variety of programs for employers, including customized workforce training tailored to meet the specific needs of the employer. Our workforce programs manager will work with you to develop a training program to retool your current workforce and give your business an added advantage. CCE collaborates with economic and workforce development partners to better serve e

mployers in the South Central Michigan region. As such, we are uniquely positioned to assess skill-gaps in the incoming and existing workforce and identify areas where additional training and development would provide maximum impact. As businesses expand and diversify to remain competitive, having a pulse on the local business community allows CCE to be proactive and demand driven in its approach to the region's workforce and professional development needs. The Henry Ford Health Al Glick Healthcare Camp is looking for college students to serve as camp counselors for their 2026 summer healthcare camp in Jackson!

As a counselor, you’ll:

A big shoutout to the Race to Talent event held this morning at Jackson College’s ATC building! We had a wonderful time hosting LEO, JAMA, and Michigan Works!

It was exciting to celebrate several outstanding employers for their incredible work in apprenticeships, including MACI, Technique Inc., Gerdau, and Lomar.

The event gave us the opportunity to highlight the amazing work JAMA is doing with apprenticeships, while connecting local employers with the skilled trades and apprenticeship initiatives happening at Jackson College. We’re grateful for the collaboration and look forward to continuing to work with our community!
