Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. held their annual scholarship presentation program on May 5th at the Jackson- Madison Board of Education.

Gamma Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® proudly provided three $1,500 scholarships to deserving Jackson-Madison County School System students today as we continue our commitment to academic excellence and educational advancement.

We were honored to have Andre Darnell, School Board Representative, serve as the speaker for the event and provide inspiring and encouraging words to our scholarship recipients and attendees.

Special thanks to Kyra Smith and Dianne Ivery, Scholarship Committee Chair and Co-Chair, along with the entire committee, for their hard work in organizing such a meaningful and impactful event. Your dedication to our students and community is truly appreciated.

Our Chapter President, Dr. Mechelle Moragne, also shared remarks encouraging the students to continue striving for excellence and pursuing their dreams.

Congratulations again to our scholarship recipients. We are proud to invest in your future and look forward to all that you will accomplish!
