We need everyone to share this and help this young man out. Camren Thompson is one of the most talented athletes I have ever coached. He is respectful, polite and probably one of if not the best soccer players in the state. You can vote several times before it stops. Also, please share this post.

Alabama high school sports: Vote for Gadsden Times boys and girls athlete of the Week of March 29, the final week of March and spring break for most of the area.

TROY SCOTT MARTIN'S MEMORIAL/CELEBRATION OF Life

On Monday, May 13, 2024, there will be a Memorial/Celebration of Life for Troy "Scott" Martin at Navarre Beach, Florida, Sea Oat Cir., at the Sand Dollar and Ghost Crab Pavilions.

VISITATION: 11:30 A.M.

Memorial Service: 1:00 P.M.

Meal: 2:00 P.M.

Dress Code: Very casual, i.e. Shorts, Short Sleeves, Beach Shoes. The Pavilions will be available until dark. Anyone who is able and wants to join us for this Celebration of Scott's Life is welcome.

AL THETA, Derek Stroup will be on the Tonight Show this coming week! In case you haven’t been following him, Derek has been chasing his dream for many years as a comedian, and over the last year has been touring with major players in the game! Way to go, Brother!

Greetings Brothers and Alumni,
It is the season for spring, and we could use good news! Well, we have some!
IT IS OFFICIAL!!!! SIG EP WILL RETURN TO JSU!!!! It was announced last night by Brian Warren, Sigma Phi Epsilon Headquarters CEO.
As of last night, Sigma Phi Epsilon announced goals for 22-23. Alabama Theta, Jacksonville State is identified and approved to start up!
Our chapter is having the chance we want! Now is the time to think about what you can and will do to help! It will take all of us to bring our chapter back!

Thanks for the time to meet today. It was a blast to catch up and I'm excited I got to be the one to deliver the good news...
SigEp and Jacksonville State have agreed for SigEp to return in spring 2023.
We're ready to make AL Theta a thriving chapter with your help. That means we've got a heck of a lot of work to get done. Coming out of our call, there were two action items to start working through.
Action items
• John will start working with alumni to rebuild interest and get them involved
• John will invite Matt to the April AL Theta AVC meeting on April 24th
• Matt will send John talking points for the alumni...
1. SigEp HQ staff and Jacksonville State have agreed for AL Theta to return to campus in the spring of 2023
2. We'll be staffed that entire semester with two New Chapter Development Directors who will work directly with alumni volunteers, university staff and the growing chapter to recruit, train and build the chapter from the ground up
3. A startup chapter is only as successful as the work that gets done leading up to the first day on campus, which means we all have a lot to get done in the next few months and alumni volunteer support is a huge driver in that pre-expansion work
4. Please keep an eye out for communication from John Hopson about next steps on how to get involved and support the chapter
