May is Arthritis Awareness Month, AOII takes this opportunity to recognize our philanthropy director, , who has worked hard to spread awareness and raise money for the Arthritis Foundation. Read about her story!💙💙

“AOII’s philanthropy is a cause that is very dear to my heart. My dad, both grandmothers, my grandfather, and I all suffer from arthritis. Knowing that some of the people I love the most hurts daily because of this disease, breaks my heart, but knowing we raise money to help find a cures gives me a whole bunch of hope.
I had the honor this past summer to be a counselor at Camp MASH, a camp for kids who suffer from arthritis. Watching the kids play and have fun with zero limitations and to be a kid made me fully realize how cruel arthritis is. Kids get arthritis too!!!
I am also so thankful to have had the honor of planning and executing the event Smoke Out Arthritis!! I am so proud to say we raised over $12,000 to make the one in four, none in four!!”
