JSU Honors Program JSU Honors Program is an organization for gifted students with opportunities to grow and become better leaders.

The Honors Program at Jacksonville State University provides academically gifted students with an enriched educational experience in a diverse range of courses that foster independent, critical thinking and effective communication. The Honors Program helps students fulfill their potential in their chosen fields while preparing them to meet the challenges and responsibilities of becoming citizens with global perspectives.

Congratulations to our final Member of the Month for the semester, Ms. Kendall England!

Kendall is a sophomore exercise science major. She enjoys spending her time volunteering, and it shows! She has spearheaded one of our most popular service events: volunteering at the Boys & Girls Club in Jacksonville! Kendall is always willing to help, and she does so with a great attitude. She is a great example of what it means to be an Honors student. Thank you, Kendall!

Cara is a freshman psychology major who brings positivity and enthusiasm to every experience. This month, she’s participated in activities such as playing bingo at Legacy Village and volunteering at the Boys & Girls Club, all with a smile on her face. She’s also attended several other events hosted by the Honors College. Cara’s positivity and dedication serves as a prime example of what it means to be a part of the Honors College.
