2-Sentence Horror Story Contest
It was a dark and stormy night... when the University of North Florida's Thomas G. Carpenter Library decided to host a 2-Sentence Horror Story Contest for all UNF students, faculty, and staff. The contest begins Monday, October 4, 2021, and submissions must be submitted online by Friday, October 15, 2021. Horror story submissions may be about any terrifying topic or gruesome subject but must be two sentences (400 characters or less) in length.
Three lucky wordsmiths will be chosen to receive gift cards

Come join in the fun and enter the USPA Fall Decorating Contest
There are three categories you can submit an entry for:
• Best Costume
• Best Office
• Best Department
Theme choices can be either Fall or Spooky
You will have from Oct 4th - 22nd to decorate your entry, then submit a photo of your entry on Oct 25th. Please be sure to email [email protected] for the entry form to attach with your Photo by:

Entries will be Judged between Oct 25th – Oct 28th by the whole USPA and winners will be announced on Oct 29th.

Greetings,

On behalf of the USPA, I’d like to invite you to nominate someone you know for the 2019 Gabor/UNF Foundation Award. This award recognizes employees for outstanding job performance through professionalism, dependability, and contributions to the UNF community. If you’d like to nominate someone who has demonstrated exceptional commitment to the university, please take this opportunity to submit their name for consideration. Self‐nominations will also be accepted. To be eligible, a nominee must be a current, full‐time employee at UNF (in a budgeted position as USPA) who has completed a minimum of three years of continuous service.

This year the winner will receive $1500 (after taxes), and the runner‐up will receive $500 (after taxes).

To nominate someone (or yourself), you have 3 options:
1) Pick up a paper form available at Human Resources or Physical Facilities, fill it out,
