Yesterday was about more than unpacking boxes and settling into a new space. It was about being welcomed to campus, meeting new faces and already beginning to build the friendships and connections that will make Illinois College feel like home. Through hands-on classroom experience, leadership opportunities, study abroad and faculty support, Laura graduated prepared to inspire the next generation. Now, she's headed to Olympia Middle School to teach sixth grade English language arts! 📚🍎

At Illinois College, Luke Laurenzana ’26 never had to choose between computer science research, software development, and music. Through hands-on research, faculty mentorship and opportunities to stay involved in drumline, Luke found a place where all of his passions could thrive.

Now, he's headed to Southern Illinois University Edwardsville to pursue a master's degree in computer science!
