We’re looking forward to the SUNY JCC Golf Classic Tournament Presented by Community Bank, N.A. at Holiday Valley Golf Course. It’s shaping up to be a great day of golf, connection, and giving back.

Most importantly, the funds raised will support JCC students and create opportunities that can have a lasting impact on their educational journey.

We'll be raising funds all day for our Outstanding Future Educator Scholarship, which is awarded to a rising sophomore education major who demonstrates strong potential, character and growth as a future educator.

Join us in congratulating our director of Residence Life, Tyler Silagyi, on being named the next president of the State University of New York Residence Life and Housing Administrators organization!

A two-time graduate, Tyler has been a dedicated leader on our Jamestown Campus for nearly a decade, helping create a supportive and engaging residential experience for students while also building strong connections across SUNY campuses.

His leadership helped make JCC the first community college to independently host a SUNYRLHA conference last year. That milestone achievement that reflects his commitment to student success and collaboration in higher education.

We’re proud to see Tyler represent JCC and community colleges across SUNY in this important leadership role!

A few members of the Alumni Board spent time this week creating beautiful flower bouquets to sell at graduation. Thank you to Kim Carlson at Pea Pod and Juniper for opening your store to us and sharing your talent as you taught us how to arrange the flowers.
