Bonner Freshman Service Trip Recap: Day 3

We had the privilege of serving at The Hope Center, which houses the headquarters of over 65 nonprofits serving North Texas and people all around the world 🌎

Afterwards, we took some time to reflect on all that we learned together, and ended the day with ice cream at Andy’s🍦

This trip was such a blessing to all of our CCE students and staff! We can’t wait for next year 😁

We had the best time getting to know the Dallas community by serving at Brother Bill’s Helping Hands and Mercy Street 💗

We ended the day with dinner at Pie Tap, Hurts Donuts, and some unexpected new friends! 😊

Senior Spotlight: Abbi Martin!! 🎓

Abbi is a dedicated Faith and Justice Scholar, and she is this year’s female recipient of the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award!

Abbi will be graduating with B.A. in Biology Pre-Health, and she’ll be joining the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham this coming fall 🩺

Abbi, we are so proud of you, and we thank you for serving with such a Christ-like heart! We are very excited to see how the Lord continues to use your leadership to shape the lives of those you encounter beyond Carson-Newman!!

Happy Easter break!

As we celebrate Easter, we’re reminded that Christ is risen. He conquered the grave and brought us new life, hope, and purpose. This season isn’t just about a moment in history, it’s about the love that changed everything.

Because He first served us with the ultimate sacrifice, we’re called to go out and serve others with that same love. Every smile, every act of kindness, every helping hand reflects His light in the world.

So grateful for these moments, these people, and the joy of serving together. He is the reason behind it all. 😊
