Our third annual Summer Nursing Camp was a success!

Dozens of young future nursing students from all over spent the week on campus learning lifesaving skills and gaining hands-on experience from our awesome Nursing Department faculty and students! From performing health assessments and practicing skills to learning from local EMS and LIFESTAR officials, these students gained invaluable knowledge and experiences that will carry them far into their future healthcare careers!

Special thanks to our wonderful Nursing Department faculty, staff and students for hosting such a fun, educational week for these prospective students!

On this Father’s Day, we recognize and celebrate all of the fathers and father figures!

And while today we honor all of our earthly fathers, may we also praise our Heavenly Father whose mercies are new every morning. We thank Him for modeling to us the ideal and most perfect form of fatherhood in which He extends the purest love, the most grace, the strongest protection and an everlasting faithfulness.

Today is Talon’s favorite holiday — National American Eagle Day! 🦅

Pictured is Lincoln, a bald eagle born and raised by our friends at the American Eagle Foundation. Lincoln has visited Mossy Creek a few times over the last several years and is good friends with Talon! Most recently, Lincoln appeared in a Super Bowl commercial and performs breathtaking free flights at games for the Philadelphia Eagles!

God continues to move in mighty ways through our students!

C-N senior Isaac Melber’s story is an incredible testament of God’s grace, faithfulness and deliverance. At a young age, he was placed in an Ethiopian orphanage and was later adopted by a loving couple from Kentucky. Throughout much of his young life, he wrestled with grief, identity, loss and figuring out God’s plan. Despite everything, returned to Ethiopia and reflected on God's goodness through every step of the journey. Adopted once by an earthly family and then adopted again into the family of God through Christ, Isaac now has a testimony that is changing lives not just on campus but throughout the world.

One word that can describe the Carson-Newman experience for many of our students is “meaningful.”

For 2025 graduate Samantha Ball, it is the one word she used to describe her time at Carson-Newman. Despite not growing up in a Christian household, she accepted Christ in middle school and was led to Carson-Newman by her senior year of high school. Once at C-N, she quickly knew she had found her community and home.
