The Cleverlys Concert - GrassHipPop Fusion music

Event Description:

April 25, 2018 at 7:00 PM in the Culp Auditorium.

GrassHipPop Fusion music at its finest! The New York Times wrote, "If Earl Scruggs, Dolly Parton, and Spinal Tap spawned a litter of puppies, it would be the Cleverlys.”

Digger Cleverly, along with his nephews Ricky Lloyd, Sock, DVD and STD, make up The Cleverlys. They have traveled the globe, if the globe only consisted of the United States, performing at PACs, music venues, and some of the nations largest festivals like Stagecoach, Telluride, CMA Fest and even the Grand Ole Opry.

There isn't another act like this faux family band, mixing comedy and A-list musicianship. They guarantee your audiences will enjoy it or they will NOT give your money back. There is a reason why the Cleverlys are the lowest grossing act out there, and that's tax evasion. Some of the most popular tunes on The Cleverly’s set list includes tunes like Psy’s “Gangnam Style,” a medley of Blackstreet’s “No Diggity,” and Flo Rida’s “Low” that recently went viral on Facebook, with over 9.9 million views from a local TV appearance.

FREE concert BUT seats will be first come first serve. Review security information on SORC website.

An Evening with Andrea Gibson is concert filled with spoken word, fearlessness and a celebration of wonder, longing, and love. Andrea Gibson is not gentle with their truths. It is this raw fearlessness that has led them to the forefront of the spoken word movement -- the first winner of the Women's World Poetry Slam -- Gibson has headlined prestigious performance venues coast to coast with powerful readings on war, class, gender, bullying, white privilege, sexuality, love, and spirituality.
