When you move away for college, you miss a lot of what is going on back home. Now that you're home, here are 4 things to do this summer while you're home from college.

It’s hard to believe that college students are already heading home for summer break. It feels like just yesterday we were dropping them off for their first days of kindergarten — I mean college. Blink and you’ll miss it, right? When my oldest came home for summer break after his freshman year...

Now on my third college boy, I decided to share what worked for us during the summer and what my role as a parent was in that success.

They will be home before you know it.

We’re halfway through ForeverETSU, and today’s challenge is one you won’t want to miss.

Day Three: 90’s Infomercial Challenge

Our students were tasked with creating their own infomercials using:

A product: Yo-Yo (selected by the Department of Philosophy & Religious Studies)
A tone: Serious Public Service Announcement (selected by the Department of Theatre & Dance)
The results are creative, unexpected, and a lot of fun to watch. Make sure to leave a comment about which commercial you liked best.

As with each challenge this week, the outcome is influenced by donor participation.

The team with the most donors will earn an additional audience vote, which could make the difference in the final result.

And remember:

It’s about the number of donors, not the dollar amount
Every gift counts equally
Watch the infomercials on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.

Donate at: https://www.givecampus.com/s/bkf43a

Even if you’re not able to give today, you can still support by:

Sharing the video with your networks
Liking and commenting on the post
Encouraging others to support your team or department
Voting is open until 3:00 PM, so there’s still time to make an impact.

Thank you for continuing to support our students and helping make ForeverETSU such a success.
