Each week, our local alumni gather for lunch at different restaurants in JC. During the school year, active brothers often join in the lunch to hear ΣΧ stories from the last, network with alumni, and enjoy the Brotherhood. Today, 10 alumni gathered and a couple of active brothers took 15 potential new members to the lunch to show them the Lifelong ΣΧperience! The alums also paid for everyone’s lunch. It was a great day for all!

The Sigma Chi Fraternity at East Tennessee State University is proud to announce that two Brothers have been awarded the Sigma Chi Freda Gill Nursing Scholarship for the 2026–27 academic year. Each recipient will receive a $2,500 scholarship made possible through the generosity of ETSU & Sigma Chi Alumni Charles “Peck” Gill ’70.

The Fraternity and the donor would also like to thank the ETSU Foundation for its coordination and support of these scholarships. The ETSU Foundation exists to support the University’s mission by managing endowments, scholarships, and private contributions that benefit ETSU students, faculty and campus programs.
