The great scientist and humanitarian Stephen Hawking will be sorely missed, but it is fitting that he checked out of this physical dimension on 3/14 or Pi Day.

Those fortunate enough to meet Sir Hawking often claimed the most striking aspect about him beyond his intellect was his wonderful sense of humor.
