Just because it's summer doesn't mean things slow down. Two Social Science students from the Geosciences Department have each won a research grant from the Pennsylvania Geographical Society! This research will be presented at the fall conference of the Society. Congratulations to both students.

Today is Administrative Professional's Day. For Social Science, that mean we get to recognize our own Nadia Bernardy. From helping out students, assisting with questions, and basically making sure everything just works, Social Science couldn't exist without Nadia's very patient help!

On Friday, April 17th, we were proud to host and Co-Anchor this event with Senator Dush. About 100 people from around the region gathered to listen to experts, lawmakers, and survivors in effort to work together to work to stop Human Trafficking. Planning was lead by our own Dr. Julie Wagner and Dr. Matt Sernell and they were joined by Social Science Division Administrative Staff Nadia Bernardy.
