University of St. Francis Founded in 1920 in Joliet, Illinois, the University of St. USF offers competitive academic programming in Joliet, Ill. and Albuquerque, N.M. Clare Campus, and St.

Francis is a nationally ranked, Catholic university serving 3,000 students with bachelor's, master's, doctoral and certificate programs in the arts and sciences, business, education & nursing.
