JJC Alert: Internet and phone service have been restored across all Joliet Junior College campuses.

JJC has resumed normal operations and College systems and services are once again available.

The outage was caused by a cut fiber in a local construction site.

We appreciate the patience, flexibility and cooperation of our students, faculty and employees throughout this disruption.

JJC Alert: At this time, Joliet Junior College continues to experience an external internet and phone service outage affecting all campuses.

Despite the interruption, classes and events will be held as scheduled Wednesday, Sept. 9 to the extent they are able. Minimal student services will be available on campuses during this time.

Students should check their iCampus accounts for course-specific instructions from their faculty members. Employees should contact their supervisors regarding work expectations, operational needs and any department-specific guidance during the outage.

Additional updates will be provided as information becomes available.

JJC's launched a new fire academy, and applications for spring 2027 open today!

The 16-week certificate program prepares students for the Illinois state certification exam and was created in response to the regional demand for firefighters and paramedics.
