Jesus is the Creator of the universe. He is our Savior. Movies have been made about Him. Books have been written about Him. Buildings have been built in His honor all over the world. He is the Author of the best-selling book in the history of the world. He is, without a doubt, the most famous person the world has ever known. He owns the planet. He made the planet. The winds and the waves obey Him. He tells the oceans where to stop, lightning where to strike, and the sun how brightly to burn. He never sleeps, or even gets tired. He can walk on water and float on air. He has more money than Elon Musk, and gave Einstein the ability to read, write, and add. He not only knows how many stars are in the sky, He also put them there. Blind men can see Him, deaf men can hear Him, and mute men can speak with Him. He is immune to disease and can heal them with a thought. He is all-knowing, ever-present, all-powerful, and is never wrong about anything. Kings bow to Him and demons tremble and run away at the mention of His Name. He has no equal and there is nothing that He needs. He knows you better than your parents and loves you more than they are capable of loving anything.
THIS is Who said “Follow Me.”
And we can speak with Him daily.
This week is on prayer. And it’s not as quiet and boring as people make it out to be.
If we want God to move in us the way we see happening elsewhere right now, speaking with Him is a great place to start.
Hope to see you all tomorrow. 7:30pm.
*We will also be doing other churches/students/campus ministries to pray Thursday morning at 7am in from of the A-State student union for the National Collegiate Day of Prayer.
*And don’t forget about Abide Weekend this weekend!
