The Windgate 3D Biennial Symposium was five days of fun, fire, and artistic fellowship. The workshops were amazing, and the time at the Hot Studio was transformative for our students, getting to work alongside internationally renowned sculptors and ceramicists.
We cannot wait until 2028!

Our second Windgate 3D Biennial Symposium will be taking place from March 9-13! Throughout the week, artists in residence will be demoing, lecturing, pouring iron, and firing our wood kiln(s). All programming is free and open to students and the public.

The first of our senior spotlights for December graduates goes to Ca Nguyen!
About her time in Art + Design she shared:

I truly loved my time at A-State as a Graphic Design student. The Art + Design program provided a supportive and inspiring environment that helped me grow creatively and professionally. I am especially grateful for the dedication and guidance of my professors, who played a major role in shaping my skills and confidence as a designer.

One of my most memorable experiences was the Special Topics in Art History trip to Paris. Seeing artworks in person that I had previously only studied through books and screens was incredibly meaningful and inspiring, and it deepened my appreciation for art and visual culture.
