Bryan Schiding has been named the 2026 USTFCCCA Central Region Men’s and Women’s Head Coach of the Year after guiding both Missouri Southern Men’s and Women’s programs to third place finishes at Nationals, MIAA runner-up finish, eight conference champions, three National Champions and 25 national qualifiers.

Casey delivered the performance of her career on the biggest stage, capturing the NCAA National Championship in the women’s javelin with a personal-best throw of 52.71m (172-11). Her winning mark earned First Team All-American honors and cemented her place atop the national podium for Missouri Southern.

Missouri Southern Makes Program History at NCAA Championships

EMPORIA, Kan. — The Missouri Southern track and field teams closed out the NCAA Outdoor Championships on Saturday at Francis G. Welch Stadium with three national champions, multiple podium finishes and historic team results as both squads earned top-three finishes.
