Zeta has made my college experience into one that I will cherish and remember positively. I’m not a very outgoing person and I didn’t participate much in my first year of college. I wanted that to change and Zeta was the best option I could have ever chosen! I have become more comfortable putting myself out there and I have met so many lifelong friends through this chapter.

My favorite memory in Zeta would have to be when we visited the Crystal Bridges museum in Bentonville my first year. I remember all of us walking through the outdoor light show and I felt so loved and at ease just taking in the sights with all of my friends.

Being a Zeta means, to me, being a part of a family. I truly have felt welcomed into this chapter since day one. As someone who doesn’t have sisters, I have gotten to share a close bond with the girls in this chapter that I imagine resembles that of a sister.

I would advise younger members to not be afraid to do things on your own sometimes. I am often held back by the feeling that I need a friend to go with me in everything I do. It’s so important to explore things and talk to people by yourself. This allows those around you to have a clearer view of who you are. Discovering that has procured friendships in my life that I couldn’t imagine living without.

I plan to continue working for Southwest Missouri Bank for the time being while also participating in a remote internship with the National White Collar Crime Center as a Digital Forensics Intern.
Love Zeta Tau Alpha:)

Zeta has impacted my college experience in more ways than I ever could have imagined. Through this chapter, I have received a scholarship, grown as a leader, and met so many amazing girls who I will always hold close to my heart. Some of my favorite college memories have come from the opportunities and experiences I’ve had because of Zeta, and I couldn’t be more grateful to be part of such a special chapter.

My favorite memory from Zeta was representing our chapter at the 125th Anniversary Convention. I had the chance to meet Zetas from all over and see how each chapter is unique, while still sharing the same values and sisterhood. I also got to meet our National Council and visit Zeta’s International Office, which was such an unforgettable experience. Convention is one of those things where you leave completely exhausted, but you would do it all over again because of how special it is.

Being a Zeta means the world to me. It means having sisters who support you, celebrate you, and make even the simplest moments feel special. Zeta has given me friendships, memories, and opportunities that I will carry with me long after college, and I’m so thankful to be part of this sisterhood.

The biggest advice I would give to younger chapter members is that you get out what you put in. I have put my all into Zeta these past few years and I never regretted a single second of it. If I had the chance to do it all over again, I wouldn’t have done it any other way.

My plans after graduation are to spend the summer with my son and start the Masters of Healthcare Administration program at Missouri Southern this fall.

How has Zeta impacted your college experience?
Zeta has impacted my college experience by giving me a close group of sisters that I can always count on and events to bring us all together.

What is your favorite memory from your time in Zeta?
My favorite memory from my time in Zeta is formal. It’s always so fun to dress up, take pictures, and spend quality time with everyone!

What does being a Zeta mean to you?
As a Legacy Zeta, it means so much to share the bond with my mom. She was a Zeta at Washburn University, so reflecting on our experiences means the world to me. I am so thankful to also be apart of this chapter and share memories and the same values with my sisters.

My advice to younger members of the chapter would be to take every moment in! Your time in college goes by so fast, so have fun and enjoy every experience.

Zeta has give me so much love and support throughout my college career. It brought me my best friends! It gave me a space to be myself. The opportunities through ZTA have been life changing!

My favorite memory in ZTA was celebrating Eta Upsilon’s 50th anniversary. It was so special to connect with our chapter’s alumnae and reflect on the past, present, and future of our chapter.

Being a Zeta Tau Alpha means being a loving, loyal, and supportive sister. I never had a sister growing up, but this organization gave me so many lifelong friends and sisters. It is a true blessing to know these women and be apart of something bigger than myself.

A piece of advice I would give to new members is to be as involved as possible. Your ZTA journey is exactly what you make of it. Apply for exec, go to the mixer, and make the most of it. It truly goes by so fast!

After graduation, I will be serving as a Zeta Tau Alpha leadership Consultant for the 26-27 academic year.

Love Zeta Tau Alpha!
