GBR 2022! Checking interest in organizing Oahu Husker Football Watch Parties for the season. Early kickoff times create some challenges for the early-going schedule. For non-a.m. (HST) kickoffs, seeking information/preferences on good sports bar meeting spot candidates. Criteria: have to open early enough Saturdays to carry the game; will 100% for sure televise the game (BTN preferable); centrally located (Honolulu/Kakaako/Waikiki) easy access/parking; ample space to handle Husker crowd. Shoot back ideas/votes for 2022-23, and we will start organizing. CDT

Happy Opening Day 2017; Hawaiian Huskers! Watch site gathering place is again Snappers Waikiki for televised games. Make sure to call ahead to Snappers to make sure they are carrying a particular game. Check this site in the future weeks for plans for a house-party in October or November (depending on how the Huskers are playing).....If any Hawaii-based are traveling to Eugene for the Oregon/NU game next week, post messages to this site to connect. After one year of watch parties at Lu Lu's Waikiki, the group has voted to move back to a former location; Snappers on the edge of Waikiki. As many may recall, Snappers is Big 10 friendly, is open very early for a.m. game kickoffs, offers breakfast and a bloody mary bar, and has reasonable parking. Spread the word and the links to all Hawaii Huskers. Go Big Red!
