✅ And just like that, the 2025-2026 IHSA Regular Season is complete! Congratulations to our seniors, Sydney Brander, Sophia Simoni, and Danica Fox for their respective IHSA careers- you will all be missed next season! 🎓 Thank you so much to the Oakland and Wayne Equestrian Teams for hosting this weekend, and congratulations to every rider who competed this season! 🥳

🤎 Over fences, Limit Rider and WMU Senior Danica Fox closes her IHSA jumping career with a blue ribbon on River! Congratulations, Danica! You will go on to do amazing things after you graduate!🥇

💛 On the flat, Limit Rider Kelsie Goodare places first after a wonderful ride on Keith! Looking good out there, Kelsie! We can’t wait to have you back next season! 👀

🐴 Thank you all of our amazing friends, family, and classmates who all came out to support WMU Equestrian Team this IHSA season. We would also like to thank our amazing coaches, Rob and Emily Stewart. 👀 Take a look at the roster for WMU Equestrian Team’s last IHSA Show of the regular ‘25-‘26 season! Thank you so much to 🤎Oakland University🖤 and 💚Wayne State University💛 Equestrian Teams for hosting! We’re looking forward to finishing the season off strong. 💪🏻

🦊 This weekend’s show at Fox Pointe will conclude SATURDAY afternoon- there will be no second show day as the official schedule states. Gives spectators and riders plenty of time to get home for Super Bowl Sunday 😉🏈

🐴 Come support the teams one last time tomorrow! Show starts at 11am; we hope to see you there!

❄️ WMU Equestrian Team is wrapping up a very chilly weekend at Willowbrooke Farms, hosted by University of Michigan. Thank you to everyone who came out to support the teams despite the weather; was so fun catching up with WMUET Alum, Veronica!

☝🏻Day One: First-year member, Madison Canavan, makes her IHSA debut with a strong ride on Vex in Pre-Novice Flat, bringing home 4th place. Sophia Simoni also had a great ride in Intermediate Fences on Frankie, bringing home 1st place/ qualifying for Regionals.

✌🏻Day Two: Sophia Simoni makes her Open Fences debut on Napoli, proudly placing 2nd place. First-year member, Shandi Stark, successfully surpasses the 18-point mark, pointing up into Novice Flat! Congratulations, riders!

🐴 Great job to all the teams competing this weekend- and congrats to us ALL for surviving the cold!! 🥶 Biggest thank you’s go to our ❗️COACHES❗️ for their hard work preparing riders to compete and to all the lovely horses carrying our riders through the season; even when temperatures are low, their spirits are always high!

🐴Your Broncos had a great weekend at Willowbrooke Farms, hosted by MSU! Thank you to everyone involved in running the show and to all the sweet horses! 🤎💛

☝🏻Day One: WMU Equestrian Team brought home overall Reserve High Point, strongly supported by Kelsie Goodare (1st Limit Fences) making her IHSA debut, Isabel Martens (1st Intermediate Flat), and Aubrey Reiffer (1st Intermediate Fences/Flat) who was awarded High Point Rider! What a way to start the weekend.

✌🏻Day Two: Our flat riders took the cake! We had outstanding results to support the team from Aubrey Reiffer (1st Intermediate Flat), Valentino Rush (1st Pre-Novice Flat), and Sophia Simoni (1st Open Flat). Congratulations, riders!

🤎💛 WMU Equestrian Team had a great weekend at the IHSA 2025-2026 season opener hosted by Kalamazoo College! Thank you to much to all the horse showing staff and the K College Equestrian Team for hosting 🧡🖤

Day One gave Danica Fox a strong start to her season, placing first in Limit Fences! 🥇

Day Two we brought home Reserve Regional High Point Team, supported strongly by Aubrey Reiffer, Valentino Rush, and Sophia Simoni, who all received top placings as well. Congratulations to all the riders competing this weekend at their first ever IHSA Show, and thank you to our amazing veterans for returning; you all did a fantastic job!

The WMU Equestrian Team is heading to Cedar Lodge for the first show of the IHSA season hosted by Kalamazoo College, ready to ride with focus, determination, and Bronco pride. From first-year riders to seasoned competitors, this team is ready to show what Western Michigan is made of. 🐎🌟

We had so much fun Team Bonding at Harvest Moon Acres! 🍎🌙

We took advantage of the Fall Activity Fun and took on the 🦆Rubber Ducky Race🏁 and the 👊🏻Punchin’ Pumpkins Challenge🎃. We stopped to relax with a nice Hay Ride then finished the day off with the Corn Maze 🌽, which we completed in under 20 minutes thanks to Aubrey and Valentino’s expert intuition 🧠! Thank you to everyone who came out!
