Student Strengths Development at Kalamazoo Valley Student Strengths Development at Kalamazoo Valley Community College is a department within the Student Success Center.

We are leaders in Kalamazoo Valley’s efforts to become a Strengths based campus. Using the Gallup StrengthsQuest assessment, we help students discover their top 5 Strengths. We know that by focusing on our school community’s Strengths we are able to increase student, staff, and faculty engagement, performance and create a thriving learning community. Services we offer:

-Facilitation of the Streng

thsQuest assessment

-Strengths Discussions - One-on-one advising sessions designed to affirm your talents and take specific action to develop and apply them

-Resume and cover letter development with a strengths emphasis

-Practice interviewing with a focus on strengths

-Help navigating resources on the StrengthsQuest website

-Referrals to relevant resources, both on and off campus, to help students develop and apply their talents in academic, work, and life experiences
