ABOUT US

Sigma Tau Gamma is a national college Fraternity founded in 1920 by educators and by veterans of the First World War. Founded as a society of men who endeavor to pursue the highest ideals Manhood, Brotherhood and Citizenship, its members dedicate themselves to a Path of Principles: Learning, Integrity, Excellence, Leadership, Citizenship and Brotherhood. Western Michigan University in the Fall Semester of 2015, Sig Tau Fraternity is a greek organization in coordinance with the Inter Fraternity Council (IFC). After 46 years of not being on campus, 18 WMU students re-founded this fraternity based on the highest of ideals. These gentlemen who have re-founded this fraternity desired to get something more out of their college experience other than a degree. These men are looking for something different within the lines of fraternalism. Sig Taus pursue and work towards finding the perfect man through their involvement in the Chi chapter at WMU. The Associate Chi Chapter at Western Michigan University is thrilled about the opportunity of building the presence of Nobel Gentelmen here on Western Michigan's campus. We strive to recruit the best and brightest students who seek to improve themselves everyday. When like-minded individuals work together to achieve a goal of prospering and growing, something special happens. Sig Tau Fraternity has an obligation to continue a positive and value added movement for future WMU Broncos to come.

As brothers of Sigma Tau Gamma, we strive to be apart of something bigger than ourselves. We are proud to announce that we have teamed up with the Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes food bank to help provide nourishment to families in need. Especially during times of uncertainty we are more than happy to do anything we can to help out our community. Together, our efforts have provided food and resource information to 102 households. In total, we have provided food to 429 individuals! Thank you, Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes for giving our family the opportunity to give a helping hand!
