Drop/Add for the Spring 2026 term is now open.

Students may make changes to their schedules online through Student Planning. Online Drop/Add will remain available through the end of the day on Wednesday of the first week of classes.

After that time, courses may still be added on Thursday and Friday of the first week, but only through the Registrar’s Office and with instructor permission.

Please note that partial-unit PE, MUSC, and THEA courses may be added through the second week of the term with instructor permission.

Students are encouraged to review their schedules and make any necessary adjustments as early as possible. If you have questions about your schedule, please contact your academic advisor or the Registrar’s Office.

Due to expected weather conditions in the Kalamazoo area, Kalamazoo College will close at 1:15 p.m. today, January 12. Please note that Welles Dining Hall will be open during its regular hours. The Upjohn Library Commons, the Richardson Room, The Book Club and the Fitness and Wellness Center will be closed. Students should check their email and course sites for information from faculty about assignments or possible online sessions.

Waitlists are officially closed for the Winter 2024 term!

Students are able to drop and add classes online for classes until Wednesday, January 10th. Adding full-unit courses on Thursday, January 11th and Friday, January 12th requires instructor permission. Students who receive instructor permission will need to fill out a drop/add form on our Student Forms page. Partial-unit PE, Theatre, and Music Ensembles and Lessons may be added through Week 2 but will also require instructor permission after Wednesday, January 10th.

Students who are interested in taking their first Spanish course at K, have taken Spanish in high school, and who have not yet taken the Spanish placement test. have until the end of 4th week of the current quarter to complete the placement exam if they wish to take a language class next quarter. Exams taken by the deadline will be scored in 5th week so that students will know their placement in time for registration for the next quarter.
