WMU Mock Trial

WMU Mock Trial In 1999, the late Dr. Renstrom, former professor, formed the Department of Political Science's Mock Trial team. In 2006, Mock Trial became a for-credit course.

The successful teams qualified for national championships. Mock Trial is a competitive courtroom experience for students interested in law, drama, public speaking, criminal justice, creative writing, sign language, accounting, arguing, camaraderie, FUN....

PSCI CHAIR'S CHALLENGE 2026!

To mark his 16th year as chair of the WMU Political Science Department, Dr. John Clark will match the first $16 of every Giving Day gift to the Department or its funds up to a total of $320!
