Good Jobs Hawaiʻi is a workforce development initiative from the University of Hawaiʻi Community Colleges, providing short-term training programs linked to high-demand careers across the state. GJH supports students with training, career pathways, and wraparound services to help them successfully enter or advance in the workforce.

Eligibility
Applicants must:

Be a U.S. citizen, Green Card holder, or COFA status (legally eligible to work)

Be a Hawaiʻi resident

Have a high school diploma or equivalent

Be 16 years or older

Participate in check-ins and surveys

This award-winning film follows Kainoa De Silva, a Hawaiian man navigating parole, family, and redemption. After the screening, stay for a Q&A with director, writer, and producer Alika Tengan, a former WCC student coming home. 🤙

Are you looking for a space to practice your Hawaiian language skills in a relaxed, welcoming environment? Whether you only know "aloha" or you’re ready to hold a full conversation, come launa and learn with us!

We are excited to invite you to ‘Ōlelo Hour, hosted by Kumu Kapela Wong. This is a dedicated time for our faculty, staff, and students to come together, hoʻomaʻamaʻa (practice), and learn. From seasoned speakers to absolute beginners, kākou kine, everyone is welcome!

Let’s ‘A‘A I KA ‘ŌLELO (dare to speak) together!

When: Every Tuesday through February

Time: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM (just before Mele Munchies)

Where: The ‘Ōlelo Lab (Ka Piko SSS Office 232)
