For Alpha Phi Omega, service is one of the ways we put our values into action. Whether through our careers, our communities or the countless hours we give in service to others, each of us has the opportunity to lead, contribute and leave things better than we found them.

Today, we honor every worker and every act of service that helps build a stronger, more peaceful world.

On Monday, August 31, Alpha Theta Tau Chapter at the University of Maryland Global Campus chartered with 25 new members. This chapter and its members are ready to build a legacy of Leadership, Friendship and Service on UMGC's campus and in their communities.

From July 31–August 2, Alpha Phi Omega chapter leaders from across the country gathered at American University for the 2026 Chapter Presidents Academy — diving into CliftonStrengths, building healthier chapter cultures and turning big ideas into real action plans for Leadership, Friendship and Service.

These leaders show up early, stay late and pour their hearts into their chapters every single day. We're so proud of what they built together this weekend, and we can't wait to see it come to life on their campuses and in their communities.

Thank you to everyone who dedicated their weekend to this experience.
