ASUM UMKC The Associated Students of the University of Missouri- UMKC's student lobbying organization. Giving students a voice since 1975.

The Associated Students of the University of Missouri (ASUM) is the non-profit, non-partisan civic organization representing the 70,000 students of the four UM campuses. Since 1976, ASUM has offered a state internship program as part of its mission to bring students into the legislative process. Since that time, more than 250 students have reserved as registered lobbyists in an effort to bring the

student voice to Jefferson City. In 1988, UMKC became an associate member campus of ASUM. Anthony Maly, serves as ASUM's Campus Advisor.
