UMKC Spanish Program

UMKC Spanish Program As part of the Foreign Languages and Literatures Department at UMKC, we offer undergraduate (BA and Minor) and graduate (MA in Romance Languages) degrees.

It is our mission to offer a comprehensive education on Spanish language, literatures and cultures. In few weeks, high school students from the Kansas City Metro area will be able to learn about Luis Quintanilla's murals at UMKC and how to create pigments from scratch to paint with them a new version of the frescoes! This high impact learning experience will be a reality thanks to the Being Human Festival in the US and National Humanities Center!
My recognition Viviana Grieco from the History Department for putting together the project and Rachel Decker from MIDE to provide their expertise in pigments and colors!
