Kckcclatinx-SOL Our Mission: Inspire and empower Latinx Students, Promoting Cultural Diversity & Supporting Community

The International Student Organization (ISO) gives international students, from abroad and in the community, the opportunity to develop an understanding of the American culture and its people; as well as the chance to share their culture with the community. The ISO promotes social interaction and participation of its members in a variety of educational and cultural events both on and off campus. T

he Student Organization of Latinos (SOL) [pronounced soul], gives students the opportunity to build leadership skills and to share their cultures with other students, faculty, staff, and the community at large. In addition, the club provides a chance for camaraderie and support for the purpose of retention and to help students to reach their educational goals.

Our altar was dedicated to Dolores del Rio and Selena Quintanilla. Dolores del Rio symbolizes the first generation of immigrants. Selena Quintanilla symbolizes the second generation of immigrants. We also invite KCKCC staff and students to join our event by sharing photos or names of their loved ones. Nuestro altar está dedicado a Dolores del Rio y Selena Quintanilla. Dolores del Rio simboliza la primera generación de inmigrantes. Selena Quintanilla simboliza la segunda generación de inmigrantes. De igual maneara invitamos a personal y alumnos de KCKCC que se unan a nuestro evento compartiendo fotos o nombres de sus seres queridos.
