Call to students and clubs! The Student Veterans of America (VSA) club on campus is looking to recruit new members interested in taking on leadership positions for the upcoming Spring '14 semester. Several officers are graduating, so it is time for the next generation to take a turn. (You don't have to be a veteran, either!) OCT 3rd gathering was great success. We discussed about current Veteran/student/career services and resources. We mentioned about our current UHWO Veteran's Affairs Representative Kira. Of courses, we shared our experiences in service and spoke "nicely" about different military services

BTW, GOOD LUCK ON YOUR MIDTERMS BROTHERS AND SISTERS!!!

What: UHWO 2013 Fall Fest
When: Wednesday, November 20th from 11am-3pm
Where: The Courtyard between the Library, Classroom, and Lab Buildings

According to the e-mail I received, this event will feature an Open Mic, games, student clubs, and mores. Come out and support!!!

POC is Travis Schmldt 674-2414, and would update you guys when I receive the specifics.This would be a great session for being informed with resources that are available to Veterans and its families, and those who are transitioning.
