WB Chuck Dickson presents a check for $42,690 to Kearney Enrichment Council Executive Director Laurence Gration. Kearney Lodge #311 assisted the KEC in planning and executing this years Gala fundraising event. With two for one matching funds from the Missouri Masonic Home, this money will assist the KEC the Spark Academy afterschool program which provides additional learning opportunities for kids during the school year.

Worshipful Brother Chuck Dickson presented this year’s Wayne Dugan
Memorial Scholarship to Stella DePrenger on behalf of Kearney Masonic Lodge #311.

Espousing values of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth, with an emphasis on self-improvement, community, and philanthropy we work to serve our families and communities while also striving to become better men. We believe that education is a continual process as we progress through life.

The Wayne Dugan Memorial Scholarship was established in 2013 to honor a Brother and former Jr. High English teacher who always looked for opportunities to further educate his Masonic brothers and the students in his care. Kearney Masonic Lodge presents this scholarship to a Kearney High School Junior or Senior annually who will be attending a college, university, or accredited trade school following their high school graduation.

The Masonic Home of Missouri offers 10 programs, each satisfying a slightly different need throughout the Masonic Family. The Outreach Programs connect the Masonic Home of Missouri to members of the Masonic Family, while also partnering with Masonic Lodges and Order of the Eastern Star Chapters to make a difference in their communities.
