🎉 Congratulations to Our SEED 2026 Students! 🎉

James Sprunt Community College recently hosted the Southeastern Education & Economic Development (SEED) 2026 Kickoff Event at Monk Auditorium, welcoming students, families, community partners, and special guests as they celebrated the start of an exciting summer of learning and career exploration.

SEED is a summer academy for high school students and recent graduates interested in careers in agriculture and advanced manufacturing. Participants will receive hands-on training, paid work experience, industry field trips, classroom instruction from professionals, and opportunities to earn college credits that can transfer into apprenticeship or associate degree programs.

Help us celebrate Dylan Anderson, a proud graduate of Duplin Early College High School and James Sprunt Community College! Dylan earned both his Associate in Arts degree and an Electrical Systems Certificate, an incredible accomplishment that reflects his hard work and dedication.

Dylan’s success story is made even more special because his father, Philip Anderson, serves as an Electrical Instructor here at JSCC. 💙
