Saideep Chilukuri started his freshman year interning at the Georgia State Capitol. This summer, the Coles College sophomore interned on Capitol Hill.

Through KSU's D.C. Owls Scholarship, Saideep spent the summer in a congressional office tracking legislation related to AI, pharmaceuticals, and financial services, all while contributing research to an AI regulation bill. He also made it a habit to have at least one coffee chat a day with staffers, lobbyists, and attorneys:

"One of the biggest lessons I learned was that policy work is about people. Every conversation taught me something new and showed me how important relationships are in this field."
