The brothers of the Mu Beta Chapter are proud to bring this highly coveted trophy home this past weekend from The Pi Kappa Alpha Academy in Memphis, TN. The Robert Adger Smythe Trophy is awarded to chapters that rank in the Top 10 Percent of all PIKE Chapters across USA and Canada. This award is the highest distinction a chapter can earn! This marks the first year the Mu Beta Chapter has won the award. This year the chapter was recognized for superior retention rate of new members, contributing over 3,250 service hours and $34,100 to community service and philanthropy, 90 percent campus involvement and placing second overall in intramural athletics. We cannot thank everyone enough for their continued support!

This past Sunday the gentlemen of the Mu Beta chapter were fortunate enough to present the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation - Georgia Chapter with the proceeds of our 5K held back in March! We are proud to announce we donated $23,075 to this wonderful organization. We were also able to surprise Amelia and Ashley with two tickets to the Shaky Boots Music Festival in May for their birthdays! These girls are battling this terrible disease and are more than deserving of these gifts and we are so blessed to be able to give back and make a difference in these wonderful girls lives, and all of the lives that the Foundation is blessing! This was a very touching moment that we will never forget! We are !
