Our amazing Professor Adrienne Viramontes was awarded the Outstanding Woman of Color in Education award recently! Here's what she had to say:

"I was honored to be awarded Outstanding Woman of Color in Education by the University of Wisconsin System. For the last eight years, my colleagues have supported me and my teaching methods and ideas. Even though the award is in my name, it symbolizes the pedagogy and dedication to diversity held by all of the faculty and staff in the Communication Department."
