Carthage College Continuing Studies The Office of Continuing Studies encompasses the Adult Undergraduate Studies, Graduate Studies and Professional Development programs at Carthage College.

Whether you are looking to advance your career, gain the skills necessary to change jobs, or enrich your personal life, Carthage provides a professional and supportive environment that will ensure your success as an adult student. The Office of Continuing Studies houses the following three programs: Adult Undergraduate Studies (AUS), Graduate Studies and Professional Development. Through the AUS p

rogram, students can earn a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Criminal Justice, Management or Marketing by taking classes at night. Through the Graduate Studies program, students can earn a Master of Education, Master of Science in Business Design and Innovation or a Master of Social Work. The MSW is offered in collaboration with Loyola University of Chicago. Finally, through the Professional Development program, students can earn a Paralegal Generalist Certificate of Completion, a post-bachelor's teaching license through the ACT program, or take Enrichment courses, many of which are particularly suited to educators seeking licensure renewal.

Did you know that Carthage offers a flexible evening-based program that is tailored to adult students? Adult Undergraduate Studies courses are designed specifically for busy adults who want to attend Carthage on a part-time basis. Classes are offered in an accelerated seven-week format, which means courses are delivered in an innovative “hybrid” design, combining face-to-face class sessions with online learning opportunities.
