Thank you to everyone who came out and made Co****le for a Cause 2015 the most successful event in its history. With 115 teams, we raised more than $7,200 for Cornerstone of Hope! Thank you to EVERYONE who participated and put on fundraisers to help us raise money for such a great organization. In addition, stopped by the house this afternoon after Co****le. It's a commemorative Jeep celebrating ATO's 150th year of existence. This, along with one other Jeep, will make its way to every single ATO chapter in the country by this summer. President Roman Waked got to sign its hood, and the rest of our brothers logged their signatures in a book. It should be around campus and in the Kent-area for the next few days. We couldn't help but share this awesome moment that brother Brandon Haney had with a homeless man in New Orleans today. On Instagram, Brandon wrote:

To give this man a meal was the least I could do. Something so small can be appreciated so large. Still breaks my heart some people live this way. Regardless of his story I'm glad I could help him. This is satisfaction and happiness for me.

We did it again! We won our annual Blackfoot v. Whitefoot football game yesterday afternoon against Sigma Nu with a score of 28-14. In addition, we raised more than $4,000 for The Up Side of Downs. We want to thank family, friends and everyone else who came to support us and this great cause. We truly appreciate it!

Homecoming 2014 was a success for ATO! We want to thank every alumnus and family member who made their way to Kent to share their Saturday with us. Special thanks to Norman Smyke and his wife, Nancy, for the cake and for donating a memorial plaque that will hang in our chapter house. The memorial plaque has the name and initiation year of every brother who has passed away since our installment as ATO at Kent State in 1953. In addition, we'd like to thank Primetime Tent & Table for donating a tent, tables and chairs for the day.

ATO supports The Up Side of Downs and Awareness Month. We have once again teamed up with Sigma Nu to sponsor USOD for our annual fall football game philanthropy. USOD exists to provide support, education and advocacy for people with Down syndrome, their families and communities throughout Northeast Ohio. In helping to raise awareness for Down syndrome and USOD, we ask that you use throughout the month to continue bringing awareness to this great organization and chromosome disorder.

Yesterday afternoon we attended Kent State University's first home game of the season and got some tailgating in beforehand. Although we lost against Ohio University, all of the brothers had a great time with some alumni even showing up! Kent State Athletics also honored Jason Bitsko, the football player who passed away last week, by passing out stickers to all attendees.

The fall semester begins on Monday, and it's Welcome Weekend in Kent. We kicked it off on Thursday by helping on-campus residents move into their dorms with Movers and Groovers, and we had a very successful retreat this morning to plan our semester.
