We are still soaring after a week of deeply inspiring artistry from our two phenomenal guest pianists that launched this year’s Kent Keyboard Series: A Season of Homecomings! Thank you to Giuseppe Guarrera, award-winning Italian pianist who returned to Ohio after winning the hearts of so many in the 2024 Cleveland International Piano Competition while earning a medal; and Daniel Milan, Assistant Prof. at University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and Kent State alumnus, who continues to make us proud since earning his Bachelor of Music degree in 2013. A special thanks to Piano Cleveland for collaborating in the presentation of Friday’s Special Opening Concert. And finally, thank you to everyone who attended and shared in these brilliantly curated and moving programs!
