What are we most proud of with our program? How many lives it has reached and helped, in some way! Since the start of the program in 2018, we have had at least 18 kids move on to coaching in some form. The impact our program has had on the Wrestling community in Texas, and even in other states, is absolutely phenomenal…When you start a program like this, you really have no idea how many lives it will touch. We are super proud of all of these Mountaineer Coaches.

Missouri Valley this weekend.
With just 28 practices under their belt, We took 11 TX raised freshmen, two sophomores, and one junior, to arguably the toughest tournament in the country. Most of them got wins, many got multiple. One freshman got to wrestle a recent National champion, on the way to the blood round. Another beat this year’s Pan-Am champion on their way to going 4–2. We certainly got to see what they are made of, and the future does look bright!

I doubt many brought 11 freshmen to a tournament of that caliber…
We are leading them through them…and not around them.
