The official page of the Schreiner University Band Department. Marty Lenard. The University Jazz Band is also led by Mr. Mr. Lenard and Mr.

The Schreiner University Band Department is comprised of various ensembles that offer different musical opportunities for Schreiner students. The University Concert Band is the premier ensemble of the university and is under the direction of Mr. The concert band presents four concerts each year and performs a mixture of standard repertoire as well as newly commissioned work for wind ensemble. The University Pep Band is directed by Mr. Kevin Dugat, and is charged with performing at home basketball games and campus spirit events. Dugat work in conjunction to form and coach competitive chamber ensembles as well coach students competing in solo musical competitions.

Studio class is a huge part of what our faculty provide here at Schreiner University. The first picture is from last weeks brass class where we had Dr. Robert Sears from West Virginia University visit and listen to some students. The second picture is Mr. Mora leading the woodwind studio through some chamber music earlier this week. A lot of great learning is taking place!

The Schreiner University Band Department would like to welcome Ethan Chesters to the program for the Fall of 2021! Ethan is a saxophonist from Harper HS in Harper, TX and he will be studying accounting! Welcome, Ethan!
