After 39 years of faithful service to Kettering College, Dr. Paula Reams officially retired as Dean of Nursing on May 11, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of leadership, compassion, and dedication to nursing education.

Since joining Kettering College in 1987, Dr. Reams has shaped generations of students, faculty, and healthcare professionals through her commitment to excellence, servant leadership, and faith-centered education. Her impact will continue to be felt through the countless nurses and leaders she has mentored throughout her career.

While she will be deeply missed, we are excited for this next chapter filled with family, travel, and new adventures.

Thank you, Dr. Reams, for your incredible service and lasting impact on Kettering College. 💙

Our collaborative simulation lab between Kettering College’s OTD program and the University of Dayton’s DPT program continues to evolve each year, creating meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that mirror real-world practice.

From evaluation to treatment, students learn with, from, and about each other, reinforcing the power of teamwork in patient-centered care.
