The Kilgore College Electric Power Technology Program held its Lineman's Rodeo and Graduation today (June 18) at the KCEPT Drill Field. The program graduated 20 students from this class.

Kilgore College proudly celebrated the Investiture of Dr. Staci Martin as the institution's 10th president, marking a historic milestone in the College's 91-year history.

Congratulations to Meghan Potter, Kilgore College technical theatre instructor, on being named the recipient of the 2026 Hamilton F. and Kathryn G. Beeson Teaching Award.

The Beeson Award recognizes outstanding teaching excellence and provides funding to support classroom instruction and student learning. Through this award, Potter has expanded opportunities for technical theatre students with new instructional materials and hands-on learning resources.

Potter has taught at KC since 2017 and is also KC's nominee this year for the Minnie Stevens Piper Professor Award. Please join us in celebrating this well-deserved recognition!
