On this Labor Day, I found myself thinking about Rahab and how her story reminds us that our labor is about so much more than a paycheck.
Rahab didn’t have a fancy title or position. She simply had faith, courage, and a willingness to ACT.
When the opportunity came, she opened her home, protected others, and stood in the gap for her family.
Her faith went to WORK!
And because of her actions, her labor didn’t just impact HER, it helped save her entire household. That scarlet cord hanging from her window became a reminder that one person's faith, obedience, and work can impact generations.
So today, as we celebrate Labor Day, remember:
✨ Your work has purpose.
✨ Your service matters.
✨ Your sacrifices are not overlooked.
✨ Your past does NOT determine your purpose.
✨ What you do today may bless generations you haven't even met yet.
Rahab reminds us that sometimes the most important work isn't the work everyone sees.
It's the quiet work the serving, sacrificing, protecting, praying, helping, and standing in the gap for somebody else.
